This page will include any articles, websites, blog posts, and videos of interest that I encounter as part of my learning journey. As an academic, I will post these in APA formatted citations and when possible link to the open access resource.

  • Survival Strategies for People on the Autism Spectrum by Marc Fleisher. - This is a self-help guide for autistic teenagers and adults. Fleisher was diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome at age eleven.
  • TED Talk: Temple Grandin: The World Needs All Kinds of Minds Grandin, diagnosed with autism as a child, discusses what thinking looks like for people with autism.  
  • Understanding College Students with Autism by Dawn Prince-Hughes in Chronicle of Higher Education, 49(17), 2003, n.p. Prince-Hughes is an adjunct professor of anthropology at Western Washington University. Dawn offers a unique perspective as she has Asperger's syndrome.
